How do I reserve my event date?

Do you have an outdoor area?

We do not have an outdoor area, however our venue is open and spacious with tons of natural light. It’s the perfect climate controlled, year round venue. There are also many surrounding areas that make great photo backdrops.


What is your event capacity?

Wedding Receptions - up to 130 guests (seated with a dance floor)

Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions - up to 100 guests

Cocktail Receptions - up to 180 guests (standing / no seated dinner)

Seated Events without a Dance Floor - up to 150 guests


is there parking for my guests?

Yes! Sager Drive is a short one-way street with around 75 parking spaces for you and your guests. There is also overflow street parking on East Boulevard, which is double-sided with no time restrictions or permit requirements.


is your venue ada accessible?

Yes! Our venue is entirely located on one, ground level with 2 accessible bathrooms.


Do you have in-house catering?

We do not have in-house catering. You are welcome to use a NYS licensed caterer. All caterers are required to provide adequate kitchen and front of house staff for the entirety of the event’s food service, which includes setup, prep, service and cleanup.

An on-site catering kitchen is available if necessary.

Kin’s sister company, Root Catering, is an award-winning firm founded and managed by chef Kristin Klock-Wattie. Depending on availability you are always welcome to work with Root Catering for any event or our Root at Kin Package exclusively for weddings.


can i bring in my own alcohol?

No, bar packages and serving staff are available exclusively through Kin Event Space.


do you have a list of preferred vendors?

We have worked with many wonderful vendors in the area and are happy to make recommendations based on your event needs!


What type of decor is allowed?

We are very flexible in terms of decor. Feel free to bring in balloons, flowers, signs, etc to decorate the space. Kin staff is not responsible for setting up any decorations. Candles are permitted if encased in glass or a lantern. We do not allow any confetti or glitter.

how many hours are included in the venue rental?

We require a minimum rental of 5 hours. This includes time for set up and cleanup.

For weddings, you and your vendor team will have access to the venue for 12 total hours. You will discuss with your event manager exact times.

Your event will end no later than 10pm in accordance with our neighborhood noise ordinance.


can i host my ceremony in the space?

For weddings with a reception onsite, we can also host ceremonies for up to 100 guests. For ceremony only, we can accommodate up to 140
